Berries oat porridge
I have this porridge for the most of my breakfast because this porridge is packed with nutrients. And I love starting my day with really nutritious breakfast.
What you need:
- 50g oats
- 250ml water
- 100g mix berries, frozen or fresh
- 1 banana, ripe (riper the banana, sweeter the porridge)
- 1 tablespoon freshly ground flax seeds
- 1 tablespoon freshly ground chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon pumpkin seeds
- 1 tablespoon sunflower seeds
How to make it:
- Put oats into a pot.
- Put into a blender berries, banana, water and blend it till smooth.
- Pour it into a pot with your oats.
- Cook till you get consistency you like. Steering frequently.
- Pour your ready porridge into a bowl.
- Add flax, chia seeds and pumpkin and sunflower seeds and mix it.
- Enjoy
Notes:
The sweetness of the porridge really depends on the ripeness of the banana. Use really ripe banana and your porridge will be nicely sweet. If it is not sweet enough for you, add some liquid sweetener of your choice e.g maple syrup so on.
