As someone who grew up with a lot of allergies and unknown imbalances with food, nutrition is something I had to learn about at a young age.

 

Back when all that was available was rice cream or rice dream - yuck - at the one super expensive health food store nearby. There was no where near as much information or products available as there is today, so it's definitely an understatement to say how grateful I am for that!

 

Finally after so many years of dealing with my stomach issues, I decided to see a natural path who tested me only to find out that I was allergic to dairy, gluten and intolerable to processed foods and refined sugars! So it was safe to say that my eating habits had to change ..quick! It started out by completely eliminating dairy and gluten and choosing more natural/less processed items. And naturally with that, meat was the next to go! 

 

And so it began...The Plant Based Diet! 

 

My body has never felt better or more nourished!

 

My skin more clearer and my mind more aware!

 

I also found that I have been able to maintain a healthy weight a lot easier!

 

I have been off gluten and dairy for about 15 years now and slowly made the transition to a plant based diet over the last decade, especially in the last 5 years!
