Potato sauerkraut bites

In All Recipes, Main Dishes, posted Jan 18, 2016

What you need:

• 3 medium potatoes, raw, peeled, grated on a small (carrot) grater

• 1 cup sauerkraut, cut + little bit of liquid

• 1 cup oats, blended in the blender for a flour

• 2 garlics, grated

• 1 tablespoon dried oregano, more if desired

• Salt, pepper

• 1 teaspoon  oil

How to make it:

1. Grate your potatoes in a big bowl.

2. Add into the bowl oat flour, garlic, oregano, salt, pepper and mix it well. (It might be drier consistency according to your potatoes, but that is ok)

3. Add sauerkraut and mix it well. If the dough is too dry, add liquid from your sauerkraut to achieve doughy consistency but definitely you don’t want to have it too runny.

4. Taste it and add more seasoning if desired.

5. Heat up the oven.

6. Oil your glass oven tray. My tray what I used was…length 25cm, width 15cm.

7. Put the dough into the tray and spread it evenly. The dough in the tray will be approximately 1.5cm thick.

8. Bake it uncovered on 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes (according to your oven).

9. Check it with some stick if the dough is ready.

10. Cut it into a smaller squares.

11. Enjoy

Notes:
