What you need:

• 1 cup (150g) roasted hazelnuts

• 20 - 25 roasted hazelnuts, insert them into the centre (or more depends on how many balls you will make)

• 1/3 cup cocoa powder

• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

• pinch of salt

• 1/3 cup maple or agave syrup

For coating:

• 100 grams dark chocolate 70% (or depends on what you prefer), melted

• 1/2 (75g) cup roasted hazelnuts, roughly chopped

How to make it:

1. Roast 1 1/2 cups plus 20 25 hazelnuts at 180 degrees 5 -10 minutes depends on your oven, make sure that you don't burn them, peel the skin after roasting.

2. Put into your food processor or high speed blender your roasted hazelnuts and blend them into the hazelnut butter.

3. When you have your hazelnut butter ready add cocoa powder, vanilla extract, maple or agave syrup and pinch of salt.

4. Blend it till smooth. Your mixture should be sticky and not dry. If it is not shapable into a ball continue blending the mixture.

5. Roll into a ball and insert 1 hazelnut into the centre.

6. Put them into the fridge for minimum 1 hour to set them.

7. Dip each ball into the melted chocolate and then coat them in chopped hazelnuts.

8. Put them back into the fridge for the balls to set again.

9. Enjoy

Notes:

Store it in the airtight container in the fridge or you can also freeze them.

When you make it take a picture and post it in our community chat. Would love to see it.
